The Department of Chemical Sciences is the hub of chemistry-related courses in the University, it is comprised of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry component units. At our Department, we are primed to build well groomed students in the chemical sciences who can fit in anywhere in the world in industries, research institutes, and academia.

The Department is pivotal in the Faculty of Science as it provides services to students of other departments and several other faculties in the University. We are steadily building a department which would be a source of envy amongst its contemporaries. We look forward to attracting a rich diversity of students from every walk of life.

We are delighted to welcome our second set of students on campus; and together with other Faculty members and friendly support staff, we hope to groom a unique set of graduates who we anticipate will stand out quality wise amongst their peers in the chemical sciences.
